Terms & Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the ResumeDB platform provided by Mobond Software Consultancy Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and Google's Terms of Service.

2. Use License

Permission is granted to temporarily access ResumeDB for personal, non-commercial transitory viewing only. This is the grant of a license, not a transfer of title, and under this license you may not:

  • modify or copy the materials
  • use the materials for any commercial purpose or for any public display
  • attempt to reverse engineer any software contained on the platform
  • remove any copyright or other proprietary notations from the materials

3. Your Resume and Profile

You retain full ownership of your resume and the information in your profile. By uploading your resume and setting your preferences, you grant ResumeDB a non-exclusive license to make that information searchable and visible to employers, recruiters, and job partners using the platform, solely for the purpose of enabling job opportunities. You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of any resume or information you upload and for having the rights to share it. You can update or remove your resume and turn off your visibility to employers at any time.

4. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree not to misuse the platform, disrupt services, infringe intellectual property, or engage in any unlawful activity.

5. Service Availability and Best-Effort Basis

ResumeDB is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis, on a best-effort basis, without warranties of any kind. Mobond makes no guarantees regarding uninterrupted or continuous availability of the platform or any specific features and reserves the right to change, suspend, or terminate the platform at any time. Mobond is not responsible for the actions or decisions of employers, recruiters, or third-party partners that you interact with through the platform.

6. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Mobond Software Consultancy Services or its suppliers be liable for any damages arising out of the use or inability to use the materials on the ResumeDB platform. Mobond disclaims liability to the maximum extent permitted by law.

7. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Mobond, its affiliates, and their respective directors, officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or connected with: (a) your use of ResumeDB; (b) any content or resume you submit, upload, or share; (c) your violation of these Terms or applicable law; or (d) your interactions with employers, recruiters, or job partners.

8. Changes to These Terms

Mobond may update these Terms from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page. Your continued use of ResumeDB after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly to us when you sign in and use ResumeDB:

  • Personal information: your name and email address (via Google Sign-In)
  • Resume and job-related data: the resume file you upload, current monthly salary range, skills, experience, preferred job location, and other resume content
  • Location details: city, area, and pincode that you manually provide for job radius filtering
  • Communications: feedback, support emails, or messages you send to us

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide and improve ResumeDB features
  • Match you with relevant job opportunities
  • Share your resume and job preferences with trusted employers, recruiters, or job partners solely for job opportunities
  • Send service updates, alerts, and support messages
  • Analyze performance, ensure security, and prevent abuse

3. Information Sharing and Third-Party Disclosure

We share your resume and job-related information with employers, recruiters, and job partners only for the purpose of enabling job opportunities. We do not sell your personal data. Employers, recruiters, and job partners may pay Mobond subscription, access, or usage fees to use the ResumeDB platform; these fees are solely for access to the platform and its features, and are not payments for any individual's personal data. Any access to user resumes or profiles is subject to strict conditions of use, and employers and partners are prohibited from reselling, redistributing, or misusing user information. We also use third-party services including Google Sign-In (OAuth), which may process device or identifier data subject to their own privacy policies.

4. Location

For job radius filtering, you manually provide your city, area, or pincode. We do not collect device GPS on the ResumeDB platform.

5. Communications

You may receive emails or in-app notifications from Mobond containing service updates, alerts, or product information. Messages sent to you regarding your account or our services will not constitute unsolicited commercial communication (UCC) to the extent permitted by law.

6. Information Security and Retention

We take appropriate security measures, including encryption in transit, secure storage, and internal reviews of data handling practices, to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. Personal data, including your resume, is retained while your account remains active and as required by law.

7. Account and Data Deletion

You can delete your account and associated personal data (including your resume and job preferences) at any time by contacting us. Following deletion, we remove personal data within a reasonable period except where retention is legally required.

8. Children

ResumeDB is not intended for users under 16. We do not knowingly collect resumes or job data from minors.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
