Before you start

What you need to build your resume

ResumeDB's resume builder is free, and you can download your resume as a PDF or a Word file. You can type in Hinglish or any Indian language, and the resume comes out in English.

Resume kaise banaye? It is easier than it looks. You do not need design skills or perfect English. Keep these things ready and the builder does the rest.

  • A Google account, to sign in.
  • Your old resume, if you have one. If not, a sample will do.
  • Your phone number and email.
  • Your studies, and your jobs or projects, in simple words.
  • The tools and skills you can use.

How it works

Three steps to a finished resume

  1. 1

    Sign in and start

Sign in with Google, then upload your old resume or pick a sample that is close to your job.

  2. 2

    Add your details

Write your work, studies and skills in simple words. The AI turns them into a summary and bullet points, and you can edit every line.

  3. 3

    Download or share

Download a PDF or Word file, or send a link. Your resume is also added to ResumeDB, where recruiters can find it.

Read every line before you download. The AI writes from what you type, so check that every point is true and says what you really did.

What you get

What the builder does for you

  • Start from what you have

Upload an old resume to fill in the form, or start from a sample resume and edit it.

  • AI writes the wording

Type your work in simple words and the AI writes your summary and bullet points.

  • One clean template

A one-column layout that software reads easily, in a Classic or Modern font.

  • PDF or Word

Download whichever format an employer asks for.

  • A link to share

Send your resume on WhatsApp, LinkedIn or email.

  • Visible to recruiters

Once built, your resume is added to ResumeDB, where recruiters can find it.

A good resume

What a good resume includes

An employer sees your resume first, and software may read it before a person does. A clear, tidy resume makes your work easy to see and easy to find. It cannot promise a job, but it removes avoidable reasons for being overlooked.

  • A clear job title

The job you want, directly under your name.

  • Contact details

A phone number and an email address that work.

  • A short summary

Two or three lines on who you are and what you do.

  • Experience or projects

Short bullet points, each starting with an action verb.

  • Education and skills

Your degree, plus the tools and skills the job asks for.

No work experience? Read resume for freshers. The builder has a Fresher sample that shows you what to write.

ATS-friendly by design

Built the way hiring software reads

ATS is the software many companies use to sort resumes, and it reads best when a resume is simple. The builder produces exactly that.

Once your resume is built, open My Resume to see its ATS score.

  • One column from top to bottom
  • No tables, and no text inside images
  • Clear, standard section headings
  • Your choice of Classic or Modern font

Finish

Download it, share it, get found

PDF or Word

  • Download a PDF if you want the layout to stay the same on every phone and computer.
  • Download a Word file if an employer asks for one or wants to edit it.

Share and get found

  • Send your personal link on WhatsApp, LinkedIn or email. Search engines are told not to list it.
  • Your resume is also added to ResumeDB, so recruiters who search for your kind of role can find it.

We cannot promise a job or a call. To see what to do once your resume is ready, read your resume is written, now what.

Resume kaise banaye? How do I make a resume with no experience?
