The idea
How being found works
To get a job without applying, upload your resume to ResumeDB, where employers in Mumbai search by role, salary and locality and contact you directly. You do not have to look for jobs and send your resume to each one. The employer does the searching. They type the person they need, and they see the resumes that match.
Your job is to upload once and set your preferences. After that, employers can find you and contact you. There is nothing to apply for.

Your home pincode is compared with their office, so a job in Mumbai is one you could reach every day.

- Write your job title under your name, the way employers say it.
- Name your tools in full: Tally, Excel, GST returns, and so on.
- Say how long you have worked in this kind of job, or write Fresher.
- Use short, plain lines. Do not put important words inside pictures.

How do I get found by employers without applying?
Put your resume where employers already look. On ResumeDB, an employer describes the person they need: the job, the skills, the experience and the area. They get back the resumes that match. You upload yours once and set your preferences. After that, employers can find you and contact you. There is nothing to apply for.
How will recruiters find my resume?
They search for it. An employer types what they need, and ResumeDB shows the resumes that match on job, skills, experience, distance from their office and salary. Yours can be one of the results. They can read your experience, skills and area before they decide to call you.
Do I have to be looking for a job right now to upload my resume?
No. There is a switch on your profile called 'Currently Looking for Job'. When it is on, recruiters can find your resume. When it is off, they cannot. Your resume stays saved either way, so you can switch it back on whenever you start looking again.
Is uploading my resume free for job seekers?
Yes. Uploading your resume, setting your preferences and getting calls are all free. Job seekers never pay ResumeDB. Employers are the ones who pay, to search and to see a candidate's phone number and email.
Why would an employer call me?
The employer does the searching, and you are the one they find. An employer also pays credits to see your phone number and email, so a call usually means they have read your resume and think you may fit.
